Lunch on the Dairy

YUM! That is the first word that comes to mind while I was working on this post. After our dairy tour we where treated to a great lunch at the home of Richard & Sharon Clauss. Chef Ryan Scott came in and created a great menu for us. Enjoy the images- CHEERS!

So last week Relish Magazine sent me on a food tour of a dairy in California that was sponsored by the California Milk Advisory Board. I remember when I was about 9 years old going to a dairy were I lived in Atlanta and thinking to my self that raising cows for milk would be such a great job. Oh the mind of a child never realizing how hard a job that would actually be and all that would go into it. Feeding,watering, and making sure they stay healthy and meeting all the rules and regulations that the government. Milking them is the least of your chores. Fruit at the Studio

For the last couple of years I have been planting Fruit trees and bushes around my studio. Well this morning I was out walking around and while checking on them just to see how everything is growing I decided to start documenting my little and I mean little orchard. I have planted Blackberrys, Raspberry’s and a Fig Tree along with a Peach Tree all of which I picked up from our local Famers Market.
